Synchiropus splendidus, the mandarinfish or mandarin dragonet, is a small, brightly colored member of the dragonet family, which is popular in the saltwater aquarium world. The mandarinfish is native to the Pacific, ranging approximately from the Ryukyu Islands south to Australia.
